Mr. Ahmad Matin Zahid recently has been appointed as a Senator at Grand Assembly of the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF). Senator Zahid will represent Afghanistan in the Global Startup Committee of the Grand Assembly.

Mr. Ahmad Matin Zahid is the Founder & CEO of PPP Knowledge Hub Organization based in Afghanistan, member of Subgroup “PPP Project Impact Assessment Working Group” United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Geneva, Switzerland. Public member of Canadian Council for Public Private Partnership (CCPPP), Canada. Mr. Zahid has Bachelor of Science in Economics and Master’s in Business Administration. He has more than 12-year extensive professional working experience with international organizations as; U.S Department of State – U.S Embassy, World Bank, USAID in the field of public procurement, logistic, supply chain & asset management, and public private partnership (PPPs) in capacity of project advisor handling project development, procurement, feasibility study and value for money in Afghanistan. He was the former Head of PPP Unit Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) Afghanistan, the project funded by the World Bank. Mr. Zahid has developed and published PPP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for MoPH and he collaborated in voluntary basis with some jurisdictions activities in the development of Afghanistan PPP frameworks, PPP Law & Regulations. Mr. Zahid has many interviews with National & Internationals magazine, TVs & newspapers. Mr. Zahid is the winner of “40 under 40” Award 2018 KARDAN University Alumni, and a PPP Certified Professional (CP3P). He is passionate & innovative entrepreneur, member of Afghanistan Investment Board, author, keynote speaker, venture activator and member of Steering Committee – World Association of PPP Units & Professionals (WAPPP).
